G2 Consulting LLC is a small minority-owned consulting company that provides information technology services, business process automation, identity theft protection/restoration services, and legal service plans for families and businesses.  The company was founded by Mr. David Gilletly and Mr. Greg Glover in November 2004 and has already begun to make its mark in the Las Vegas area.  G2 Consulting provides an extensive array of IT consulting, design, planning, configuration, implementation and training services to businesses of various sizes.  Serving small, medium and large businesses, G2's clients include hotel/casino corporations and developers, mortgage companies, home builders, and contractors.

Principles

Greg Glover, Managing Member/Senior Consultant. 

Mr. Greg Glover holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master of Science degree (pending completion of thesis) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  Mr. Glover has over 30 years of experience in the design and management of all Information Resource Management (IRM) components including hardware, software, data communications, and organizational resources. He has a background in Information Engineering (IE) methodology; experience in automating workflow processes; advisory experience with top-echelon corporate and client management; and has managed an information systems department staff of sixty, including professional specialists in computer science, telecommunications, and management information systems.

 

Mr. Glover began his professional career in 1974 as a draftsman for the City of Las Vegas.  Mr. Glover then went to work for Holmes and Narver Inc. (H&N) at the Nevada Test Site where he was responsible for computer programming related to civil engineering and performing surveying calculations.  Mr. Glover performed these duties for 2 years before returning to work with the City of Las Vegas as an engineering designer.

 

After graduating from college, Mr. Glover returned to work at the Nevada Test Site as a computer programmer.  He quickly rose to the position of Supervisor, Information Systems for the Field Operations Department.  In 1989, Mr. Glover was promoted to the position of Supervisor of the System Development Section of the IS Department where he served as the company representative on the Department of Energy’s Geographic Information System (GIS) evaluation panel.  Mr. Glover also chaired a computer steering committee and developed major portions of company Long Range, Strategic, and Short Range Information Technology Plans.  Mr. Glover continued his rise through the ranks from Deputy Manager of Information Systems, Raytheon Services Nevada (RSN) to Chief Information Officer (CIO) with RSN. 

 

Imbued with the entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Glover has founded several successful businesses.  In 1992 he formed EIE Consulting group to provide private industry and government agencies with a variety of ADP and IRM services.  In 1996, Mr. Glover formed Stellar Technology of Nevada, Inc. STN provided system sales, integration, and training for 2D-3D graphics, animation, compositing, and non-linear video editing systems.  STN also provided Microsoft Windows 2000 network integration, administration and Information Resource Management consulting services.  In 200, Mr. glover co-founded Las Vegas New Media Group to establish a training center to address the need for computer professionals in Southern Nevada’s blossoming film industry.  .

 

In 2001, Mr. Glover began teaching computer courses at Heritage College in Las Vegas, NV.  Mr. Glover taught a curriculum which included courses in networking, operating systems, database, web design, and Visual Basic programming.  In March 2003, Mr. Glover became the Department Chairman over the Computer Information Systems and the Computer Business Administration Departments. 

 

In September of 2003, Mr. Glover joined Learning House, Inc., where he was responsible for establishing corporate consulting contracts.  Mr. Glover successfully established a contract with Southwest Gas Corporation to review and make recommendations on upgrading the SWG corporate video surveillance systems.  Then, in 2004, Mr. Glover co-founded G2 Consulting, LLC which provides an extensive array of Information Technology consulting services including planning, design, configuration and implementation services to businesses of all sizes throughout the Southern Nevada region.

 

David Gilletly, Managing Member/Senior Consultant. 

Mr. David Gilletly holds an Associates of Applied Science degree in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Colorado Christian University and is currently working on a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.  Mr. Gilletly is a Microsoft Certified Master-level Office Specialist with 17 years of experience in the Information Resources Management field including hardware, software, and workgroup administration/management.  He has a background in the life cycle of information management, automating workflow processes and served as a trainer and functional resource manager for the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) and Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, Colorado, where he managed the career progression and training needs for 35 assigned information managers.  Mr. Gilletly has more than 16 years experience advising senior military and corporate management.

 

A military veteran with 23 years of service, Mr. Gilletly began his professional career with the U.S. Air Force in 1977.  Mr. Gilletly retired from the Air Force in 2000 and began a new phase of professional development in Corporate America as a manager and MIS Analyst.  In addition to fulfilling his role as an MIS Analyst, Mr. Gilletly began teaching computer classes at Blair College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  In 2001, Mr. Gilletly relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he continued his teaching assignments.  Within six months, Mr. Gilletly accepted the position of Director of Information Systems for Heritage College. He served in this position for two years.

 

In 2003, Mr. Gilletly left the college and co-founded a computer training company where he established corporate consulting contracts with various businesses in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area.  One year later, Mr. Gilletly co-founded G2 Consulting LLC to provide an extensive array of Information Technology consulting services including planning, design, configuration and implementation services to businesses of all sizes throughout the Las Vegas and Southern Nevada region.
